Big news, my people! Eyes On The Road, my first book in over six years, is available for pre-order today! (I’ve been waiting to share this news for months lol)
This is a 340-page book of personal reflections, gentle reminders, and loving pushes that will help you to stay present, and grounded, no matter what is happening in your life. This is a book that will help you to feel, acknowledge, and learn from every emotion that passes through your body.
I spent over three years writing this book. In that time span, I lived in three different cities.
I wrote this book on our couch in Alexandria, Virginia while my wife and I navigated the pandemic as newlyweds trying to figure out love, life, each other, and ourselves.
I wrote this book in our nursery in Richmond, Virginia while I learned how to show up as the father that my daughter, Ada, deserves.
I wrote this book in a cramped co-working space in Bedstuy, Brooklyn while I confronted deep-rooted trauma that refused to remain silent any longer.
You’ll feel emotions from each of these three seasons, and the decades that preceded them, throughout Eyes On The Road.
I’ve been writing since I was 19. I’ll be 34 in December. My writing career is about to be a high school freshman. Ironically, I can’t put into words how much writing has done for my mental health, clarity, and happiness–but I can say that every day that I have chosen to write, I’ve made the right choice. I hope that this book helps you as much as writing it has helped me.
Eyes On The Road releases on November 1st.
Can’t wait for y’all to read it! It’s available in hundreds of countries, including the United States, Canada, The United Kingdom, Australia, India, Nigeria, Brazil, and Kenya.
Congrats!
Wow! This is great! Congratulations ❤️
